You do not have to walk alone.

I hear you. I see you. I believe you.

 Trauma recovery coaching for survivors

One of the most challenging parts of recovering from trauma, particularly trauma caused within an interpersonal relationship, is that it requires relationship to heal. However, trauma, at its core, causes a break in the connection we have to ourselves—our bodies, our minds and our emotions - and to other people. And the imprint trauma leaves on our nervous system continues to send the message that connection - with ourselves, others, and the world- is not safe. This miraculous disconnect that saved us during times of crisis, and allowed us to live, can become the very thing that keeps us from re-connecting and fully living.

I work with my clients from the wholehearted belief that healing blossoms once we start working – within the context of a safe, connected space - with this miraculous nervous system that has done such a brilliant job of keeping you alive.

I come with the unshakeable belief that you can heal and live free from the overwhelm, chaos, numbness, anxiety and isolation of what happened to you. Our work together can allow you the safe space to begin to re-connect and to explore life from a new place, while the gentle somatic practices we will use will help address embodied trauma states and foster resilience so you can begin to access a spacious place of authenticity, knowledge, acceptance, connection and empowerment.

In our work together, always at your pace, we will teach your nervous system how to operate from safety, always honoring your window of capacity, and working to slowly expand it. All work is done gently, and is client-led. You are the expert on you, and you get to decide which paths to take. I am here to support your journey, and to offer education, choices and possibility - never to dictate your path.

I am trained in Internal Family Systems and use IFS-informed coaching to help you connect to unconscious protective patterns, working with these in a safe, nurturing way as we work to expand capacity for all parts of ourselves.

Finding our way home to ourselves is always a hero’s journey. You were created to thrive. And while what happened to you was never meant to be, healing is, and always has been, your birthright.

No matter where you are on your path to recovery, I am here to support you as you walk out into the light and live the beautiful life you were created for.

 What the Work Looks Like

I specialize in using a mind-body approach to help women recover from trauma at the level of the nervous system, where patterns of protection are held within the body, often manifesting as ongoing anxiety, depression, overwhelm or pain and illness. We will map your autonomic responses, helping to bring you more understanding and a deep awe of your innate capacity to not only survive, but to thrive. This work is informed by my training in polyvagal theory and somatic embodiment and nervous system regulation strategies and we will use practical, hands-on strategies to quickly begin impacting long held survival patterns, putting you back in the drivers seat in places that may have felt out of your control.

My coaching is also Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed, and I use “parts work” to help you uncover deeper patterns of wise survival that drive nervous system states and emotional and relational patterns.

Together, these strategies form a framework that allows us to work slowly together to build safety within your nervous system so that you can heal and thrive without getting overwhelmed and re-traumatized while doing the healing work. So often clients are retraumatized in trauma recovery work, but thankfully science has shown us safer, gentler ways to move through healing, and I am passionate about working with your nervous system with care and respect in a way that accelerates your healing.

There is a way home to yourself, and I am here to help you find your unique path out of overwhelm and into a life of freedom, joy and connection!
